1994 JUSTINO, (El asesino de la tercera edad) de La Cuadrilla con Saturnino Gracia y Carlos Lucas. Premio de la crítica en el Festival de Montpellier. Mejor película en los festivales de Sitges, Courtmajeur (Italia), Montevideo (Uruguay), Puerto Rico entre otros. Premiado con dos Goya: Mejor actor novel y mejor director novel.

1996 LA FABULOSA HISTORIA DE DIEGO MARIN de Fidel Cordero, con Martxelo Rubio, Alicia Borrachero, Txema Blasco. Ha participado en numerosos festivales en España y Latinoamérica, y resultó premiada en el Festival de Miami.

1997 A CIEGAS de Daniel Calparsoro en coproducción con Starline, protagonizado por Najwa Nimri, Ramón Barea, Alfredo Villa. Incluido en la sección oficial de “La Biennale di Venezia”.

2002 FRANCISCA (¿De qué lado estás?) de Eva López Sánchez, coproducción Mejicano alemana, con el apoyo de Ibermedia. Protagonizada por Ulrich Noethen, Fabiola Campomanes, Julio Bracho, Rafa Martín. Sección panorama en el Festival Internacional de Berlín.

2003: THE DEVIL’S APPRENTICE de Willi Huismann, documental 55’ co-producida con Sur Films y WDR (Alemania)

2004: EL COCHE DE PEDALES de Ramón Barea con Rosana Pastor, Álex Angulo y el apoyo de Canal +, TVE, IBERMEDIA y el Gobierno Vasco y la Generalitat Valenciana. Co producida con Tráfico de Ideas y Malvarrosa Media

2004: 25 GRADOS EN INVIERNO de Stéphane Vuillet, co producción con Marion Hänsel protagonizada por Carmen Maura y Jacques Gamblin, incluida en la sección oficial del Festival de Cine de Berlín y galardonada con el Premio del Público.

2005: EL CIELO GIRA Documental de creación de Mercedes Álvarez con el apoyo de Canal +, Universidad Pompeu Fabra, ICAA y el Gobierno de Navarra. El film obtuvo el premio Tigre del Festival Internacional de Rotterdam y el primer premio del Festival Cinema du Reel de Paris, y participó en los Festivales de Buenos Aires y Torino entre otros.

2005: AUPA ETXEBESTE de Asier Altuna y Telmo Esnal, protagonizada por Ramón Aguirre, Paco Sagarzazu y Elena Iureta. En co-producción con Irusoin y con la participación de ETB y Canal+. Ganador del premio del Público joven en el Festival Internacional de San Sebastián. Nominado a los Goya a Mejor director Novel.

2006: MI CARRERA EN LA IGLESIA Película documental de Catherine Ulmer en co-producción con TVE & ZDF y la participación de ARTE.

2007: LA INFLUENCIA, Largometraje de Pedro Aguilera. Cannes 2007. Quinzaine des Realisateurs. Ganadora del premio “L’Age D’Or et Cinédécouvertes” en el Festival de cine europeo de Bruselas.

2008: COSMOS largometraje de Diego Fandos protagonizado por Ramón Barea y Xabier Elorriaga. Seleccionado para participar en el Festival de San Sebastián, Sección Zabaltegi.

1994 JUSTINO, (The Senior Citizen Killer) by La Cuadrilla with Saturnino Gracia, Carlos Lucas. Critics award in Montpellier Festival. Prize for best film in the following festivals: Sitges (Spain), Courtmajeur (Italia), Montevideo (Uruguay), Puerto Rico and various Spanish Festivals. Two Goya awarded: best new actor and new director. Especially Quality Prize from the Spanish Cinematography Institute. Mercure Distribution is in charge of the internationals sales and Colifilm distributes the film in France.

The film won the Tiger Award in the Rotterdam International Film Festival and the first award in the Cinema du Reel Festival from Paris.

2005: AUPA ETXEBESTE (feature film), by Asier Altuna and Telmo Esnal. In co-production with Irusoin with the participation of ETB & Canal+. The film won the youth pubil award at the San Sebastián International Film Festival. Goya award nominated for best new director.

He attended several workshops at the Cuban School San Antonio de los Baños including Documentary filmmaking and Script writing. He
went on to write, produce and direct several short films.

He has worked in Mexico as assistant director of Carlos Reygadas in “Battle in heaven”
and of Amat Escalante in “Sangre”.

“La Influencia” (The influence), his first feature film, was selected on the
“Quinzaine des Realisateurs”, Cannes 2007; and won “L´Âge d´or” Prize at Brussels
Cinedecouvertes Festival, 2007.

“La Influencia” has been present in many other festivals such as; Montreal, Thessalónica,
London BFI, San Sebastian, Buenos Aires Bafici, Punta del Este - Uruguay, Tübingen…

Entra al ámbito cinematográfico como ayudante de dirección de varias películas españolas, como “A ciegas” de Daniel Calparsoro o “Intacto” de Juan Carlos Fresnadillo. Cursó los talleres de “Realización de documentales “ y “Escritura de guión” en la Escuela de San Antonio de los Baños, Cuba. Más tarde escribió, produjo y dirigió numerosos cortometrajes, entre ellos “El trato” y “Narciso y Goldmundo”.

Ha trabajado en México como ayudante de dirección de Carlos Reygadas en la película “Batalla en el cielo” y de Amat Escalante en “Sangre”, ambas presentadas en la sección Oficial del Festival de Cannes 2005.

“La influencia”, su primer largometraje, se estrenó en la “Quincena de realizadores” del Festival de Cannes 2007 y ganó el premio “L´Âge d´or” en el festival Cinedecouvertes de Bruselas 2007.

“La influencia” ha estado presente en múltiples festivales como San Sebastian, Montreal, Londres, Seul, Salonika, Göteborg, Tübingen o Punta del Este, entre muchos otros.
